WHO, WHAT, WHEN, WHERE, WHY?

What, Why is MayoFest

To put it simply, Mayofe$t is a good time for a great cause! This fundraising music fest was created to honor a dear friend and incredible human who lost his life to senseless gun violence. Through this celebration, we aim to bring attention to others who have been lost in similar tragic circumstances and provide financial assistance to their families through donations received.

Mason "Mayonnai$e" Potter, a Colorado native living in Iowa, tragically lost his life when he was struck by a stray bullet from a drive-by shooting during a visit back to Colorado. Mason is not the only one whose life has been taken by such senseless violence, and our hope is that Mayofe$t becomes a place where everyone can come together to celebrate and remember those who were taken from us and curate new memories and friends to come back and celebrate life every year.

Thank you to all who have contributed to Mayofe$t. Your donations have assisted the families of Stashaun Brown, Amir Jolliff, and Desiree Folsom. Helping the families keep their loved one's name and spirit alive.
